Martin Rivas, artist and visual producer of the Universidad de Concepción, presents "La desprogramación (C0NTr4)sexual", a work that proposes a cross between theory and art, taking as references some transhumanist and sex-dissident lines of thought to propose the image of the cyborg body as a counter-sexual practice. In order to raise a visual manifesto around the imposed identity, it is destroyed to reconstruct new ways of understanding the body outside of binarism.
For this, we proposed the representation of a hybrid body between the human and the machine, which will seek to deprogram the material and subjective boundaries built around hegemonic sexuality. Thus, the cyborg allows us to think about the possibility of transforming the body to make it dynamic, unintelligible and unclassifiable as an exercise of transgression and resistance against the norm.
