Abstract
"CO-relaciones", a work by the collective Lokas Juanas, is a video-dance piece that addresses themes such as absence and presence from a relational, emotional and everyday point of view, in the context of telecommunication devices.
During the global health crisis, the use of telecommunication technology has become almost mandatory. This has called into question our way of perceiving what it means to be present, re-signifying physical contact, image, sonority and the matter of the body in its social dimension.
Brief biography of Lokas Juanas::
Lokas Juanas is a group dedicated to the Creation and Exploration in Contemporary Dance, formed by dancer and choreographer Juanita Paz Saavedra and musician and transdisciplinary artist Cristian Reinas. They have been working together since 2014 in Concepción-Chile.
They have an authorial, interdisciplinary and local perspective. Their proposal is characterized by materially investigating the disciplinary crossroads between dance, performance, sound and visuality, and conceptually investigating with non-hegemonic discursive and identity approaches.
